E. Kelly Fitzsimmons

Kelly Fitzsimmons is a well-known entrepreneur who has built and sold several companies. She is currently leading the Hypervoice Consortium of thought leaders defining the market for next generation voice technologies. She is the co-founder of HarQen, a next generation web-telephony company that unlocks the value in voice communications, allowing vital conversations to be organized and embedded back into our daily lives and workflow. Under her leadership, HarQen's premiere application, Voice Advantage HR, won the "Top HR Product for 2010" from HR Executive magazine. Voice Advantage allows staffing professionals and hiring managers to phone interview 3x the number candidates in one-third the average time. Prior to founding HarQen, Kelly was the CEO of Neohapsis, a leading information security consultancy and enterprise IT product test lab, which was successfully exited in 2006. Prior to joining Neohapsis, Kelly was president and CEO of Sun Tzu Security, a security consulting firm she founded in 1996 and later sold to Neohapsis. Kelly chairs the public outreach and policy committee for the Wisconsin Technology Council, which focuses on raising the state's median income level by supporting entrepreneurship and attracting venture capital. In that capacity, she has chaired the Wisconsin Entrepreneur Conference nearly every year since its inception in 2002. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Alverno College, a nationally ranked Catholic college for women, and is a charter member of the Executive Women's Forum, a community of more than 200 executive women in information security, risk management, and privacy. Kelly has keynoted for organizations as diverse as the FBI's Infraguard, CAUCUS's IT Procurement Summit, and the American Law Firm Association. She has also been a regular columnist for Secure Enterprise magazine and a contributor to Network Computing magazine. During her career, she has been honored as one of Milwaukee's "40 under 40" and "Women of Influence" by the Business Journal. Kelly completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She holds a Masters degree from Harvard University.
